Composite polyacrylonitrile membranes with antibacterial properties
Abstract Techniques for preparing composite polyacrylonitrile membranes by immobilizing natural or synthetic compounds on their surface have been developed, and their transport, functional, and antibacterial properties have been studied. It has been found that the membranes with complexes immobilized on their surface exhibit a long-term antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli HB 101.
