Basic operating principles of a pioneer fish-preserving complex is discussed as a component part of a tidal power plant. The complex contains fish-passing, fish-protection, and fish-habitation units that complement one another. This structural-procedural solution makes it possible to protect fish from falling in the generating set at a tidal power plant, and pass them through the site in both directions.
