Frequency Control in Power Systems of Russia under Modern Conditions
Abstract Problems concerning frequency control and active power flows under the conditions of restructuring of the Russian power industry are considered. The single process of control of the operating conditions of a power pool is presented as a sum of the processes of primary, secondary, and tertiary control of the active power. Recommendations are given for organization of the control and distribution of functions between the participants in parallel operation.
