Wave Propagation in Piezoelectric Circular Plate under Thermo-Electro-Mechanical Lording
Abstract In recent years, increasing attentions have been given to the smart structures with piezoelectric sensors and actuators for they can sense and alter the mechanical response during in-service operation. The literature on the piezothermoelectric behavior of materials is extensive. To author’s knowledge, however, a majority of investigations have focused entirely on the stationary or vibration problems. Few attempts have been made to investigate the wave propagation in piezoelectric materials under thermo-electro-mechanical lording.
