Conclusions
Conclusions are summarized in this chapter. Available digital design tools and open-source CFD software enable designing and simultaneously analyzing designed architecture in the wind during the conceptual design stage. The wind-driven design method can be well utilized by architects, engineers, and urbanists in everyday practice. The second part described an adaptive, tensegrity-membrane envelope, dynamically reacting to the instant changes in the wind velocity, direction, and changing wind loads. When applied on the building skin, it further enhances the wind microclimate and influences wind forces acting on buildings.
