Conclusions Based on the analysis, the following recommendations for improving the operating conditions of the removable sector of a runner chamber are proposed: a) Omit jacks, turnbuckles, and other supplementary sector fastenings from the construction; b) Connect the sector recess with the spiral chamber; c) Install uniform thickness gaskets between flanges of the sector and the runner chamber; d) Fasten the sector to the runner chamber with bolts of high-strength steel.
