Predicting the Post-Subsidence Consolidation of Slowly Subsiding Loess Soils in Constructing Hydraulic Structures
Factors are revealed that characterize the composition and properties of subsiding loess soils affecting the long-term deformation of the loess foundation beds of hydraulic structures due to long-term wetting and water infiltration. A method of predicting the likely magnitude of post-subsidence consolidation is developed.
