Caractérisation des sédiments superficiels de la baie de Marennes-Oléron
In Marennes Oléron Bay (Charente-Maritime, France), intertidal superficial sediments are under the influence of important hydrodynamic, meteorological factors and anthropogenic effects. It follows that there is need for studies based on the surface layer of the cohesive sediment throughout the bay. Using laser diffraction particle size analyser allowed the determination of samples textural properties. Furthermore we can determine the sediment behaviour with the hydrodynamic data measured in field monitoring to evaluate the capacity to move under stresses and to give some informations for the validation of hydro sedimentary models.
