Comparison of Predicted and Measured Solar Radiation Over Pakistan
Solar radiation data has been collected for six cities in Pakistan. Two popular methods, the Angstrom correlation method and Sivkov & Barbaro method, were used to estimate the solar radiation after obtaining regional regression coefficients. Comparison of the two methods reveals that the Angstrom method gives a better fit with the measured data and should be adopted for Pakistan.
