Sami Fereig, Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at Kuwait University and Martin Horn, manager of the Aziz Block factories at Shuwaikh, propose an alternative form of construction to that commonly used in Kuwait. The proposal will reduce the working days on one unit of construction from 204 to 144 days and it suggests costs will be cut by 14 per cent.
