Phasing production and delivery of ready-mixed concrete
In many ways the synchronisation of production and dispatch of ready-mixed concrete is considerably more complicated than it is for other commodities. In collaboration with Danish concrete factories the Danish Building Research Institute has developed a theory on the most economical means of organising production and transport. The practical experience that has been gained in the application of this method is described.
