A brief summary of water resources and water use in the Republic of Kazakhstan is presented. Input data and methods of making water resource vulnerability assessments takin g into account clim ate change are given. There is a discussion on the results, and the structure of measures of adaptation to water resources change under anticipated future climatic conditions is suggested.
