Medium combination vehicle use in Canada
This paper reviews trucking operations in Canada, the Canadian regulatory and operating environment, and the evolution in equipment configuration, particularly the A‐train and B‐train combinations. Recently introduced national standards for vehicle weights and dimensions are discussed in the context of their expected influence on the design and use of the B‐train combination. Finally, the future directions of technology development in the trucking industry are reviewed.
