Contribution des granulats au comportement mécanique des bétons de sable chargés
The consequences of the introduction of a limited quantity of aggregates on the elastic and failure properties of sandcrete are analyzed. A large sample of parameters are studied via measurements on specimens and via numerical simulations. Aggregate concentration and the matrix to aggregate stiffness ratio appear to be the two more influent parameters. A non linear effect is observed for the concentration effect, which casts some doubts upon the usefulness of usual two-phase models in this framework. The influence of interface defects is analyzed. Results confirm the interest of sandcrete with G/S ≤ 0.4.
