Modélisations bidimensionnelles
Numerical simulations performed in the frame of the “Benchmark des poutres de la Rance” are detailed in this paper. A 2D model is proposed in which the various constitutive elements of beams are represented: for concrete, an isotropic damage model is used; for prestressing and passive steels, an elastoplastic strain hardening model is adopted. Corrosion effect is considered by reductions of steel cross-section and ductility. The bond between smooth steel and concrete is modeled with joint elements. The load carrying capacity is estimated for various hypotheses for monotonic and cyclic load: sound steels, reduction of sections without ductility, reduction of sections and ductility. The numerical results are finally compared to experimental database.
