Le projet RGC&U sur les incendies en tunnel
The RGC&U project relevant to fires in tunnel aims at providing a characterisation of the transfer phenomena developing as a consequence of the interaction of the longitudinal flow with the physical confinement and the mechanical or natural ventilation effects. The stake of the project is a better knowledge of the mechanisms that may interact with the people safety during a fire. Since the ventilation system is the only available mean able to produce an active control on the smoke development, the project should be concluded by a set of recommendations aiming at optimising the ventilation equipment, as well as the definition of the operation rules and, if possible, their automation.
