Heat pumps: not yet cost effective
At a meeting earlier this year a review of the potential and problems of heat pumps was made by a technical sub-group of CIB working commission W67 on energy conservation. The meeting confirmed that the potential of heat pumps is considerable for energy-conservation and the pace of international interest is so great that the need for research collaboration has been intensified.
