Cement polymers and water/cement ratios
For the first time we include a contribution from the Building Materials and Structures Institute of the Polytechnic School at Cracow, Poland. In this article the author describes tests on cement pastes impregnated with methyl methacrylate. They tended to show that impregnation reduces water permeability and increases strength at higher water/cement ratios. However, very fluid pastes will increase resin consumption without compensating improvements.
