Eine Plattform für die Wissenschaft: Bauingenieurwesen, Architektur und Urbanistik
This article notes the problem of environmental degradation in central and eastern Europe. It analyzes the characteristics that should be ideally assumed by cooperation on environmental issues between developed countries and central and eastern European countries. The obstacles facing East- West cooperation are analyzed, namely regarding “technology transfers.” Lastly, it makes a presentation of the program of “Cooperation in Science and Technology with Central and Eastern Europe Countries,” launched by the European Communities Commission. The article considers its potential concerning environmental issues between the European Community countries and the central and eastern European countries.
