Modélisation déterministe et probabiliste du comportement mécanique simplifié des corps d'épreuve
This article presents the numerical simulations carried out by the Central Laboratory of Public Works within the framework of the RGC&U project “benchmark of the Rance beams”. These simulations are based on simple modelling for the structural behaviour of reinforced and prestressed concrete beams subjected to simple tensile and bending tests. This modelling relies on classical principles of the strength of materials, including specificities such as tension stiffening and corrosion. In order to consider uncertainties related to the various parameters, calculations are carried out through a probabilistic approach by means of rough Monte-Carlo simulations. The results obtained are in good agreement with the experimental results, in particular concerning stiffness and load bearing capacities.
