Underwater welding service established
A group providing specialised underwater services to the offshore industry has been set up by BOC. The main functions of the group will be to carry out inspection, repair and maintenance work on drilling rigs. Platforms, terminals and underwater pipelines. Work in inland waterways will include inspection and repairs to dock gates, sheet piling dolphins and fenders. The group is equipped for both long-term contract work and emergency call-out services.
