Modeling a hospital organization
A multidimensional input-output model of a hospital's components is developed which, because it tracks the flows of people, materials, and services, can be used for long-range planning and resource allocation, and dynamic simulation of the hospital. The model also allows thed etermination of shadow prices, and hence, the profitability oft he various hospital components.
