Solar photoelectric electrodialysis desalinization plant
The general form and the volt-ampere characteristic of a photogenerator are considered; its optimal electrical parameters are considered for a total energy illumination of 1000 W/m2. The fundamental electric and hydraulic systems of the plant are given and described. The basic components of the plant are described: the electrodialysis unit and the photogenerator. A method is presented for carrying out regime and service-life tests of the plant. The energy and technological characteristics of the photogenerator-desalinization unit system are given. The photogenerator has a capacity of 200 W for an output of 9 liters/h. The specific consumption of electric power is 14 kWh/m3 drinking water or 0.9 kWh/kg of removed soluble salts are obtained.
