Future direction of telecommunications and telecommunication buildings
In the future society, telecommunication buildings are expected to increase in importance as nodes in the information network system. One of the most important criteria in designing telecommunication buildings is that they should be adaptable to a change in use. This applies not only to future buildings, but also to the 12 million m2 existing ones. This paper discusses the development of the telecommunication technology and its influence on telecommunication buildings in terms of building components, environmental requirements for the equipment room and building plan categories. It also analyzes the building engineering technology development influence and tries to find the future direction for telecommunication facilities.
