Development testing of a secondary refrigerant freezing desalnation pilot plant at the Wrightsville Beach test facility
Operational testing, maintenance, and modification were conducted for nine months on a 75000 gallon per day desalination plant. The operational parameters of a 13 foot in diameter counterwash column for this process were identified and recommendations were made to alleviate the problems. Material analysis of various aluminum components in the plant was made by Argonne National Laboratory and the results are included in this report. (Stoehr)
