Energy estimation methods for heating and cooling will be presented in some following issues. The congruent access of the presented methods has following common calculation components: the heat charge of the space, the secundary load from the equipment, and primary energy requirements to energy equipment. First the methods with one rule are presented: method of heating energy requirements estimation, method of oil or gas consumption estimation, estimation of electrical energy demands, the step-days method, and the method of changable base of step-days. Calculation data for determination of heat demands for over 200 cities in Yugoslavia are given. (Jarc)
