Concrete coatings: High-voltage spark testing and pinhole elimination
Polyurethane (PU) coatings are a popular means of protecting concrete surfaces. However, the interaction of the coating with the concrete can cause holiday detection to be difficult. To illustrate this problem, a case study involving a high-voltage spark method for testing a PU coating on a concrete tank is presented.
