Vibration control performance of high-damping rubber damper evaluating from seismic observation in actual building
The authors have been done the research and development of the high-damping rubber damper for a vibration control in high-rise buildings. This damper is a storey-installation type, and is able to install in various places in a building. The characteristics of the damper have already been investigated from various loading tests and shaking table tests. The analytical model of the damper for evaluating the damping performances has been also established. This paper describes the actual vibration control performance of the building with the damper from the seismic observation.
