Valorisation project on steel in housing
The main objective of this valorisation project is the dissemination of the results of the ECSC project 'Application of steel in urban habitats' (the so-called Mega 5 project) part housing, at European level and at national level and the collection of all the key results together in a European short publication and European video. The objective of the Mega 5 project was the design, construction. validation and demonstration of steel-intensive components and/or sub-asemblies with appealing aesthetic contents to be used in urban habitats. In addition national publications are produced. The project covers parts of the Mega 5 project that are focused on housing. The products of the project are: a short common European publication of the key results of the Mega 5 project in the participating countries, part housing, including the new technologies and knowledge developed and demonstrated during the Mega 5 project; a common European video of the key results of the Mega 5 project in the participating countries, part housing, including new technologies and knowledge that was developed and demonstrated during the Mega 5 project; national deliverables including information gained in the demonstration projects (like technical solutions, environmental benefits, cost effectiveness, results of the follow-up studies, etc.).
