Concrete products with waste's plastic material (bottle, glass, plate)
Plastic material is not easily biodegradable even after a long period, in fact a wide variety of waste materials can be utilized as inert in matrix cement. In this paper the authors have focused the attention on the use of plastic material particles incorporated as aggregate in concrete and they have evaluated the chemical, physical and mechanical properties.The results obtained demonstrate that the best mixture concrete-PET is at about 10,00 % in vol and a ratio w/c = 0,4. The flexural and compressive tests confirmed this condition. The adhesion PET/concrete probably results as mechanical bond lacking, but its efficiency is satisfactory to use this materials in the present applications. In the report is presented an industrial product obtained with best studied ratio.
