International researches revealed to be, the environmental subject, one of the largest concerns of the building site and heavy construction leaders. In Brazil the consumption of natural aggregates only in the concrete and mortars production it is of 220 million ton/year. Around of the cities, natural aggregates become scarce, due to the crescent environmental controls of its extraction, what elevates the cost of the natural resources and burdens the engineering process, the building site consumes about 2/3 of the extracted natural wood. Besides all the arguments above related, recycling activity can reduce the pollution in a general way, in the great consuming centers of natural resources for building site, the volume of embankments wastes, present significant economical advantages and provide the production of new materials of technological base, implicating in reduction of the cost of houses, infrastructure buildings, highways, barrages, among others. Through of the determination of the physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics of the solid waste, besides of its structural performance when recycled, it was possible to analyze a better acting of the material when applied as addictive in others mortars.
