Chemistry of blended Portland cements. Part 1: Natural pozzolanas, fly ashes and granulated blastfurnace slags
Betrachtet werden die charakteristischen Eigenschaften natürlicher Puzzolane, Flugaschen und Hüttensande, die neben Zementklinker als weitere Hauptbestandteile zur Zementherstellung eingesetzt werden. Zum einen wird der Einfluss dieser Stoffe auf die Hydratation der daraus hergestellten Zemente beschrieben, zum anderen werden die Reaktionsmechanismen aktivierter und nicht aktivierter latent-hydraulischer sowie puzzolanischer Stoffe zusammenfassend erläutert.
Described are the characteristic features of natural pozzolanas, fly ash and granulated blast furnace slags used for the production of common cements with different main constituents. The influence of these materials in modifying the cementitious properties of cement is reviewed and an attempt is made to understand the reaction mechanisms of latent hydraulic and pozzolanic materials their activation and the hydration of cements derived from such materials.
