3D laser scanning deflections on suspension bridge over the river Tisa
For getting a clear picture of the condition of the suspension bridge, the system for laser 3D scanning was used, which is a new and interesting method, with great application possibilities, and which is constantly developing as regards its techniques and technologies. The suggested way of registering the change in geometry of the bridge structure, under the force of the static test load, can be carried out by laser 3D scanning. It is considered that in experimental analysis of structures, in this case as well, we should bear in mind certain limitations. At this moment, they primarily refer to the fact that the declared digressions of +/-6 mm can be neglected considering the entire deformation made on the structure under the influence of test load. According to the shown material, it can be concluded that the new system for scanning Cyrax 2500 can be applied for measuring of change in geometry on bridge structures with larger deflections (> 60 mm) and for spans of bridges up to 300 m, if it is conditioned by the water obstacle. In such circumstances the precision of measuring will be with digression up to 10 %. The program of measuring should precisely define the methodology of scanning for each object separately. In this way of registering of change in geometry (in AutoCAD) there existed software limitation that was related to the number of the processed points. Fortunately, this problem was solved by installation of the special Cyclon module or AutoCAD.
