Realization of TRC facades with impregnated AR-glass textiles
The composite material TRC (textile reinforced concrete) broadens the application of concrete constructions in the field of facade engineering. Textile fabrics provide high tensile strengths especially when coated with resins. For members with non-planar geometry tailor-made reinforcements are available allowing for economic cast processes and high load-bearing capacities. With the development of these structures, an important step towards building almost any section with TRC has been performed.
