The Simplified Calculation Methods on Parallel Story Isolation Seismic System with Rubber and Sliding Supports
Using parallel isolation bearing to story isolation seismic system, establish a two material-points simplified model and a dynamic differential equation. Solve this dynamic equation by Newmark-β method and MATLAB language programming. A 4-story frame structure is employed as an example, to discuss the responses such as horizontal displacement, velocity and acceleration, and investigate the influence of slider bearing burden weight ratio to the structure.
