Response Analysis of SRC Column Subjected to Blast Loading
With the characteristics of large load carrying capacity and good seismic performance, SRC are always used as important vertical components to stand load. Once destroyed, leading to serious consequences and even progressive collapse. Recently, the bombings occurred frequently, lots of buildings are destroyed as a result of explosion and bring great threat to human beings. Therefore, how to improve the structure of the explosion protection performance caused widely concern in the engineering sector. The finite element software ABAQUS is used to analyze the dynamic response of SRC column under blast loading, the response curves of the column is completely different with different column-ends constraints. Compared with one end consolidation constraints, both ends consolidation constraints can significantly reduce the vibration displacement. Appropriate to increase the stirrup and steel sections can improve the ductility of SRC columns, and the displacement amplitude and the extent of damage of column can be reduced, the performance of explosion proof can be improved. The papers research can make a reference to the future research for dynamic response analysis and explosion protection of SRC column under blast loading.
