Calculation of parameters of flat reflectors employed in heat treatment of precast reinforced concrete with the use of solar energy
Since flat reflectors are recommended for yards and open areas of plants producing precast reinforced concrete, it is important to establish the parameters of the reflector to the solar cover in different seasons of the year for the purpose of efficient utilization of reflected rays. The authors determined the slopes of a flat reflector for the Bukhara region, providing for reflection of the radiation flux incident on the reflector's surface onto the whole surface of the solar cover. To reveal the optimum slope of the reflector to the solar cover in other regions of the USSR where solar technology can be introduced for production of precast reinforced concrete, data from climatological reference manuals on the angle of the sun's inclination to the horizon ( alpha sun) for different months of the year are used as the starting point.
