This paper describes the small scale production of boards and corrugated tiles composed of Cabuya Fiber Mortar. A normal weight Mortar Matrix was used. The Reinfocement consists of Fique Fiber chopped in short lengths. A 4 % Fiber content by volume of mortar was used. In order to decrease weight, different materials were tested in order to substitute as much as 30 % by weight. No additives had to be used. The results indicate that these products can be used in traditional building for purposes of roofing and panels construction, preferably for low income housing.
