Experimental study on a new type of low-rise concrete shearwall
A new type of low-rise steel fiber high strength concrete (SFHSC) shearwalls with vertical keyways in the wall is proposed based on the concept of structural control. One specimen and three specimens with vertical keyways low-rise SFHSC shearwalls are tested under reverse cycling loads. Some factors which affect such shearwalls with vertical keyways are discussed. A calculation formula for the ultimate shear strengh is suggested.
