Analysis of ultimate carrying capacity of reinforced concrete low-rise shear walls with control devices
Based on experimental researches and some basic assumptions of reinforced concrete, low rise shear walls with frictional damp control devices, analysis of boundary frame, wall-slabs and their controlling forces has beem carried out. The formulae for the ultimate carrying capacity of the new low-rise shear wall were derived. The calculated values obtained by the formulae show a good agreement with the experimental values.
