A mathematical model for fracture process of four point bending concrete beam
A new mathematical model for fracture process of the four-point bending concrete beam is proposed in this paper. A notched beam under bending is approached by superposition of a series of states of infinite elastic plane (or half plane) with cracks or no cracks subjected to different forces. The numerical model for failure process of beam is submitted by a crack growth with a fracture process zone along the crack faces, and the load-displacement curve is simulated.
