Corrosion environment and durability of steel-framed houses
In order to clarify the durability of steel-framed houses, the corrosion environment and corrosion rate of coating indoors have been measured using steel framed experimental houses. The durability between coated steel sheets for frames as well as joint areas between sections and plywood has been measured and the adhesion of coated steel sheets and wooden materials has been researched. This study has shown that there is a mild corrosion environment indoors with a very low rate of coated steel sheet corrosion and that the durability of each joint area is adequately secured.
