Compared with Portland cementitious material,alkali-activated cementitious material owns many excellent performance,such as high strength, good durability, low heat and so on;however,the absence of admixture for alkali-activated cementitious material makes contribute to embarrass application of this type of material. The paper introduces some approiate chemical admixture for alkali-activated cementitious material, summarizes and dicusses the mechanism of few admixture,also raises the current problem and prospect for alkali-activated cementitious material
