Influence of Ground Phosphorous Slag Powder on Performance of Cement Mortar
Comparing the activity of ground phosphorous slag (GPS) from five different areas in Sichuan province, the effects of fineness and content of GPS on cement mortar strength were studied. The results showed that all GPS produced in Sichuan complied with GB/T26751 and JC/T317 for activity requirements. With GPS dosage of 30%, the 28-day strength of cement mortar grew with the increase of specific surface area of GPS; within the dosage of 0~50%, as the dosage rose, 28-day strength of cement mortar first went up and then down, reaching the peak at 30%. When used as mineral admixtures in concrete, specific surface area of GPS is preferably 3500~4500 cm2/g, and its dosage should not exceed 30%.
