Die Architektur des Kindergartens im 20. Jahrhundert in Deutschland : eine Untersuchung im Hinblick auf konzeptionelle Qualitäten im Spektrum von individueller Planungsvielfalt und Baukastensystemen
The thesis analyzes and evaluates the kindergarten architecture of the 20.Century in the spectrum of non-standard planning and prefabricated building principles. There is a deficit of care supplies for children in Germany at the end of the 20.Century. The actual reason for the problem was resulting from the guaranteed claim on kindergarten care supplies by the government and the recessive economic situation. The urgent need of the municipalities led to a primarily economically aligned culture of architecture. A catalog of criteria is the basis to evaluate, in which way an economic architecture in the building of kindergartens can be obtained without reduction in quality. In this context future orientated kindergarten planning for the 21.Century is evaluated. An own integrated planning concept is checked regarding its architectural and economic capacity, multiple use and use for new purposes potentials. Only a "Sustainable Architecture" can implement the various request at kindergartens and integrate future orientated considerations meaningfully.
