Generations at Work: The Problems, Power, and Promise Explored
This article discusses inter‐generational relationships within the workplace, and provides lists of work group traits for each generation (Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, and Millennials), and what each group values and needs to flourish on the job. The article focuses on the diversity and techno‐knowledge of the Millennials, and suggests several activities that organizations and their workers can do to better understand each generation.
