Der neue S‐Bahn‐Haltepunkt Gottesacker in Dortmund ist ein Beispiel für ein Verkehrsbauwerk, dessen Architektur durch die ungewöhnliche Form der Tragstruktur bestimmt wird. Transparenz, Eleganz und Dynamik prägen das Erscheinungsbild der Konstruktion. Der nachfolgende Beitrag beschreibt die Objektplanung für den S‐Bahn‐Haltepunkt, den Entwurf der Konstruktion der Überdachung sowie deren Tragverhalten.

The new suburban line stop Gottesacker in Dortmund is an example for infrastructure‐planning where aesthetic qualities are determined by the exceptional form of the loadbearing structure. Transpareny, elegance and dynamic characterize the appearance of the steel structure. This article describes the conceptual design for the station, the structural design of the roof as well as its structural behaviour.
