Water Reuse for Groundwater Recharge
Groundwater recharge with reclaimed water promises a number of benefits: amelioration of problems of overdraft, land subsidence, and saltwater intrusion, thus helping with the resolution of both water quality and quantity problems. It is widely acknowledged that groundwater recharge is a safe, economical, and cost effective method for improving the quality of storing, and transmitting reclaimed water. The July 1980 issue of JOURNAL AWWA explores the subject of water reuse for groundwater recharge.
