It is the opinion of the AWWA Accreditation Com. that mandatory training with approved accreditation will result in a much improved training program for water‐utility personnel. Training and education are constant requirements of any profession or industry. Therefore, training programs should be accredited to ensure trainees of fruitful educational programs.
