A Survey of Problems With Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment
The authors surveyed operators of 28 reverse osmosis water treatment plants to obtain information on the types and causes of problems with such treatment installations. Operators were also asked for suggestions to improve the performance and operating efficiency of their particular system. The results of the survey are summarized, and recommendations incorporating operators' experience are made for future installations.
